U of M startup company SMART Signal Technologies partners with MnDOT to provide real-time traffic data for road users and traffic engineers.

Two University of Minnesota startups are finalists in the Venture Forum Business Plan Competition, presented by the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM).

Based on research from the University of Minnesota, SMART Signal Technologies, Inc., will commercialize a system to better predict and manage the flow of traffic on roads controlled by traffic lights.
